In response to the "where are we camping" questions, I have placed a partial map of the Ventura County Fairgrounds down there on the left. It has some important areas highlighted, but to view it full size, you'll need to click on that little square-within-a-square thing in its upper left hand corner. Please note how CLOSE we are to the beach!!!

That looks suspiciously like we're going to be on grass......we'd thought we were on asphalt. Can you give us a heads up.....makes all the difference with how we'll put up our awnings ya know!!

Yep, we're gonna be on grass - we pretty much have the the entire fairgrounds to pick from, so if anyone wants to camp on asphalt, they are certainly welcome to... Excited? Who me?? I've already started packing!!!
